Daily Dirt Rally has a small number of rules and they interact in ways that are not obvious from playing. These guides explain the actual behaviour of the game — measured from the code that runs it, not from impressions — so you can stop guessing why a line felt slow.
7 driving guidesBy Donald Harris

If you have never driven the game, read how to play first, then track limits. Those two cover most of the distance between a first attempt and a respectable time. Everything after that is optimisation.
Speeds, distances, timings and AI tuning values quoted here are taken from the game’s own source rather than estimated from play. Where a system exists in the code but does not yet affect driving — per-surface friction being the main one — the guides say so explicitly instead of describing an intention as a feature. If you find a guide that has drifted out of date with the game, tell us at the contact page and it will be corrected.
